What?
This was a neat way of showing all the work we did for our election project in a painted book like we did before. We had to take our chosen measure or race and research it in depth so we could educate the public on our voter education night exhibition. We condensed all the important info all on to one page that would be presented at the exhibition.
Front and Back Covers
To the left is an image of the front cover. I chose to write the title on newspaper to give it good contrast with the white background and give it a cool look. To the right is an image of the back cover done in the same style as the front. Additionally We had to make a haiku that described in short what a senator did

Job Explanation
We added a short explanation of what a senator's job is because as we discovered a lot of people don't really know. We did research on various websites to figure what senators actually do every day se we could explain it better. Below is our explanation.
A senator’s job is to represent the people living in his or her state in the United States Senate. Part of this job is to write and vote on new laws called “bills.” A bill must be voted on and passed by both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives and signed by the President of the United States in order to become a law. A senator can stay in office for an unlimited amount of six-year terms if they are re-elected. In total there are one hundred senators, two from each state. A senator must be at least thirty years old and have been a citizen for nine years. No education is required for this position, but most have degrees in law or political science. They work part of the year in Washington, D.C. and part in their home state.

One Pager
we made a one page information sheet that would give people a collection of all the information the need to know about our candidates so that people could make an educated decision after they read it. We put it
Political Poem Analysis
I chose to analyze the poem The Revolution Will Not be Televised by Gill Scott-Heron. We had to develop a view on what we thought the poem was about and prove it using facts gathered from the poem. Bellow you can find my analysis.
Politics and Art Quotes
I chose two quotes about art and politics that I liked from the internet an wrote them big on one page of my book. I liked how the first quote "politics is politics; art is art. If you play a political role, you have to stop being an artist" shows how politics and are are 2 opposites on the spectrum and how politics has no creativity or art in it.
